  • Mike Callahan and his crew arrived right at the scheduled time. They worked well as a team and began prepping immediately. They installed plastic sheeting to protect all areas not being sanded and at the end of each day, all waste was bagged . After three sanding passes were completed Mike put down samples of the colors that interested us and provided suggestions for additional tinting. He was very patient and answered any questions we had. He also provided info about EPA regulations and options for the materials to be used. Overall, Callahan Bros. were punctual and professional. Mike supervised all phases of the job but his expertise in stain color selection and blending was fantastic. His talent and experience produced great results.

I've heard horror stories from other people who used other companies about how the mess afterwards will have you cleaning dust for days. Callahan makes a real effort to block off rooms not in use and does a great job at cleaning up. very little cleanup required. The crew is very efficient, they work hard and do an outstanding job. They showed up on time and didn't stop until the job was done. Mike is very knowledgeable on all aspects of wood flooring. He will offer suggestions and will make sure you are happy. He's always available via phone and email, very responsive. They also repaired a few existing flaws in my floors and other extras at no extra cost. For example: fixing gaps of missing wood, reinforcing subfloors, filling holes,removing molding and reinstalling molding, lifting radiators, etc. The results were amazing, worth every penny. A+++
